Roland Gröll will resign from his position at the Managing Board of Vienna Insurance Group at the end of June 2017. From 1 July, subject to the approval by the relevant boards, he will assume responsibility for the area of IT in the two Austrian subsidiaries that was previously held by Gerhard Lahner. Aside from ensuring IT functionality for Wiener Städtische and Donau, he will be responsible for the important area of digitisation and implementing the "Fit for future" project.
